We accept all forms of elephant art.

Submitting to the feature folder is perfectly fine!! (1 submission limit per day)

RULES: All folders 5 submission limit (except for feature folder)
PHOTOS will be declined if blurry, too dark, etc. (send a note my way if you want to know why a picture was declined).
Digital; Traditional and Anthro please try and submit completed work only (no lined paper, it will be declined) No Porn, it will be declined drawing anthro naked is fine if tasteful, but it cannot be dirty, sorry, i will decline.

To join the group just click where it says JOIN GROUP!

On main page you have a section called FAVOURITES: here are the rules to submit on this section:
- To suggest a favourite, just click where it says SUGGEST A FAVE
- YOU CAN'T FAVOURITE / SUGGEST YOUR OWN PHOTOS; this section is for you to show us the amazing photographers you know, so you only can send me OTHERS PHOTOGRAPHY, I'LL REJECT IF YOU SEND YOUR PHOTOS
- You can suggest / favourite as many as you want AS LONG AS ISN'T YOURS
- The photos must be only be elephant RELATED

Also on main page you have a section called GALLERY: here are the rules to submit on this section:
- You have to be a member
- THE PIC MUST BE YOURS!
- YOU CAN SUBMIT up to unlimited (for not and please don't abuse) deviations per day per folder.
- To submit just click where it says CONTRIBUTE ART on main page
- The art must be elephant RELATED!
- I may recieved lots of photos, so i may take a while to accept everything.
- i will keep 3 pages worth of the feature gallery, once it goes past that, i will start to file your pictures into the appropriate galleries.

If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to ask! I hope you enjoy!

Jack and Bess watched, lying on their stomachs underneath their father's wagon and squinting against the glimmer of sunlight on the horizon.

'Everyone has always told him,' said Bess, 'that he couldn't teach elephants to waltz.'

This has always been troubling me...Do elephants count as ungulates?

I got this from google:

Elephants together with hyraxes, dugongs, and manatees are classified as 'paenungulates' ('almost ungulates'). Although formerly known as 'sub-ungulates', they are now recognised as representing the evolutionary intermediate between hooves and claw-like nails. With new discoveries suggesting the fact that the paenungulates were even more specialised than the 'true' ungulate group, they are now firmly established within the constantly expanding taxonomy of the ungulate infraorder. Therefore elephants ARE ungulates.
